How to get started


To get started you will need to contact Jason or Simon at the Train Station Fitness Centre by either email: info@trainstation2fightclub.co.uk or telephone: 029 2038 3121 or Jason on 07977 106213 and then come along to the training sessions on Monday at 7pm - Boxfit Bootcamp, Tuesday 6.15pm - White Collar Boxing or Thursday 6.30pm - White Collar Boxing.

At the beginning of each training session we start off with a warm up, followed by boxing technique, where you will learn how to punch with correct form, hooks, uppercuts, straight punches, combinations, footwork, blocking, defence slipping, bobbing and weaving.  Once you have got the basics you will then learn bag work, boxing fitness exercises / drills and eventually after a few weeks you will learn how to spar wearing head guards and using 16 ounce gloves.

There is no time on how long it takes before you can have a fight or exhibition, it takes each individual longer or shorter than others to learn the art of boxing, it can be anywhere from 8 weeks to 6 months depending on your fitness levels.

All sexes, ages, fitness levels are welcome!
